Krampus

Similar to a version of the devil, Krampus is a creature with cloven hooves-half demon and half goat. His haunted origin is ancient German Christmas. Sprouting horns, fangs and a snake-like tongue, Krampus carries a bundle of birch sticks to swat bad children. Then he carries them to the underworld hidden in a basket.
